Your body is like a house with lots of different rooms. Each room has its own special instructions that tell it how to look and what to do. These instructions are called DNA. DNA comes from your mom and your dad, and it determines what you look like. Sometimes your DNA might look like your mom’s, and other times it might look more like your dad’s.
