In microbiology, we learn about very tiny living things called microorganisms. We cannot see them with our eyes, but they are everywhere! They can be on our skin, in the air we breathe, and in the dirt outside. Some of them are helpful, and some of them can make us sick. But scientists are studying them so we can learn more about them and how to stay healthy.
