Explain Science

Dubnium is a highly radioactive and extremely rare element that has only been produced in tiny amounts. It was first created in 1968 by a team of Russian scientists at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Dubnium is a member of the transuranium elements, which are elements with atomic numbers greater than that of uranium. Dubnium is highly unstable and its physical and chemical properties are not well understood, but scientists believe that it behaves similar to other metals in its group. Dubnium has no known uses outside of scientific research due to its extreme rarity and high level of radioactivity.
