Neon
Neon is a noble gas that is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. Its boiling point is -246.05 degrees Celsius, which means that it is a gas at room temperature. Neon is known for its bright reddish-orange glow when it is used in gas discharge lamps, signs, and other lighting applications. It is also used in vacuum tubes and in cryogenics due to its very low freezing point. Additionally, it can be used in gas chromatography to separate different compounds and in its liquid state to protect semiconductor materials during the production process.
