Foodborne Diseases

Foodborne diseases are illnesses or infections that happen when we eat contaminated food. Contaminated means that the food has bad germs or bacteria in it that can make us sick. When we eat food that has bad germs, they go into our tummies, and that can cause diarrhea, vomiting, tummy ache, and feeling very tired. Sometimes, we have to go to the doctor to get better. To stay safe, we need to make sure we eat food that is clean and cooked properly. We should always wash our hands before eating, and if our food smells strange or tastes bad, we should not eat it.
