Epilepsy
Epilepsy is a condition that affects the brain and can cause something called a seizure. During a seizure, a person’s body might shake, they might lose control of their muscles, and sometimes they might even pass out. It can be scary to see someone having a seizure, but it’s important to remember that they are not in pain and they usually don’t remember what happened afterwards. People with epilepsy can live normal lives and take medicine to help control their seizures.
