Apatosaurus is a very big dinosaur with a long neck. It lived a long, long time ago. It ate plants like trees and leaves. Its name means “deceptive lizard” because scientists initially thought it could live in water, but later they found out it lived on land. Apatosaurus had a very long tail that it used for balance. It was one of the largest creatures to have ever walked on Earth!
