Giganotosaurus
Giganotosaurus was a giant carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 95 million years ago. It is considered to be one of the largest known meat-eating dinosaurs. Giganotosaurus had a long, slender skull with sharp, serrated teeth, which it used to tear into the flesh of other dinosaurs. It had short, powerful arms with sharp claws, and it walked on two strong hind legs.
Giganotosaurus measured around 43 feet long and could weigh up to 8 tons. It is believed to have been slightly larger than the well-known Tyrannosaurus rex. Giganotosaurus had a long tail that helped it balance and made it easier for the dinosaur to make quick turns while chasing its prey. Its large size and impressive hunting abilities made it a fearsome predator in its ecosystem.
