Atoms are made up of really small things called protons, neutrons and electrons. Neutrons are one of the things found inside the middle of an atom, in a place called the nucleus. Unlike protons and electrons, neutrons have no charge. They help to hold the atom’s nucleus together, along with the protons, which have a positive charge, and the electrons, which have a negative charge.
