Special and General Theory of Relativity
When you’re playing with a ball, you throw it and it goes straight, right? But what if you could throw it so hard that it went all the way around the Earth? That’s kind of like what Einstein thought about light. He said that if a flashlight shines from a moving car, the light doesn’t look the same to someone standing still. It’s like when you spin around with your eyes closed and then everything looks wobbly when you stop. That’s because things look different when you’re moving. Einstein also said that big things, like the Earth, can curve space and time around them. It’s like when you roll a ball on a blanket and it makes a dent - that’s what the Earth does to space and time!
