Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety disorders are when people feel very worried or scared all the time, even when there’s nothing really dangerous happening. It’s like feeling scared of monsters under the bed, but the fear doesn’t go away even when you know there’s no monster. Some kids might get anxious before going to school or making new friends, and that’s normal. But for some people, anxiety can become very big and take over their lives. Luckily, there are ways to help people with anxiety, like talking to a doctor or therapist who can teach them how to manage their worries and fears.
