Pituitary Gland
The pituitary gland is responsible for producing and secreting a variety of hormones that regulate key bodily functions, such as growth, metabolism, and reproduction. It is closely connected to the hypothalamus, which acts as a control center for the pituitary gland and regulates its hormone secretion. The pituitary gland also plays a role in regulating stress responses, blood pressure, and water balance in the body.
