Gland
Glands are specialized organs that produce and secrete substances, such as hormones, saliva, sweat, and digestive juices. There are two main types of glands: exocrine glands, which secrete their substances through ducts onto a surface, such as the skin or digestive tract, and endocrine glands, which secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream to regulate various body processes.
