Immunology and Disease

The immune system is a complex network of organs, cells, and proteins that work together to protect our body from harmful invaders like viruses, bacteria, or parasites. When the immune system detects an invader, it attacks it by producing specific proteins called antibodies. These antibodies recognize and bind to the invading agent, which then signals other immune cells to destroy it.
