The Liver

The liver is one of the largest organs in our body that is responsible for processing the nutrients and toxins that enter our bloodstream. It produces bile, a substance that helps in the digestion of fats, and stores glycogen, which is used to generate energy in the body when we need it. The liver also plays a crucial role in detoxification, breaking down alcohol, drugs, and other harmful substances that we consume.
