Livermorium
Livermorium is a highly unstable synthetic element that was first synthesized by Russian and American scientists in 2000. It is created by bombarding curium isotopes with calcium ions using a particle accelerator. It is a member of the pnictogen group and is expected to have properties similar to those of its lighter homologues, such as nitrogen and phosphorus. Due to its high radioactivity and short half-life, there are currently no known uses for livermorium outside of basic scientific research.
