Vitamin D

Vitamin D is a special nutrient that helps our bodies stay strong and healthy. It is sometimes called the “sunshine vitamin” because our bodies can make it when we spend time outside in the sun. Vitamin D helps our bones grow and stay strong, and it also helps our immune system fight off germs that make us sick. We can also find vitamin D in some foods, like milk, eggs, and fish. Remember to get plenty of sunshine and eat your healthy foods to have enough vitamin D!
