Understanding Orbits

Do you know what happens when you throw a ball, it goes up and then falls down? The same thing happens in space too! An orbit is the path that an object in space, like a rocket or a satellite, follows around a bigger object, like a planet or a moon. It’s like throwing a ball around, but there’s no air in space to slow it down, so it can keep going around and around.
