Quantum Mechanics

Quantum mechanics is very different from classical mechanics, which is what we use to understand how larger objects like cars and planets move. In the quantum world, particles can exist in many places at the same time and can even be in two different states at once. This is known as superposition.

Additionally, quantum mechanics has the concept of “entanglement,” where two particles can be connected in such a way that the state of one particle will affect the state of the other, even if they are separated by large distances. These strange and counterintuitive phenomena are what makes quantum mechanics so interesting and difficult to understand.
