Planets

Planets are formed from the same material that makes up stars. They are created from dust and gas that comes together due to gravity. Planets come in different sizes and are classified as either rocky or gas giants. Rocky planets, like Earth, are smaller and have a solid surface. Gas giants, like Jupiter and Saturn, are much larger and have no solid surface, only layers of gas.
