Gas giants are massive planets with no solid surface that are mostly composed of hydrogen and helium gas. They have very strong gravity which causes them to have a thick atmosphere of gas and liquid that is constantly in motion. These planets have some of the most extreme conditions in our solar system. For example, Jupiter’s Great Red Spot is a massive storm that could fit multiple Earths inside of it.
