Solar Winds

The sun is constantly emitting a stream of charged particles that are propelled by its extreme heat and magnetic fields. These particles, mostly electrons and protons, travel at speeds ranging from 400 to 800 kilometers per second, and they can reach as far as the edge of our solar system. Solar winds can have a significant impact on the space environment and cause phenomena like auroras, radiation storms, and geomagnetic disturbances.
