Cirrhosis

Cirrhosis is when the liver gets really sick and stops working properly. The liver helps our bodies in many ways, like cleaning our blood and making energy. When someone has cirrhosis, it means their liver is damaged and can’t do its job anymore. This can happen if someone drinks too much alcohol or gets a bad infection. When the liver can’t work well, the person might feel very tired, their skin and eyes might turn yellow, and sometimes they might bleed inside. It’s really important for them to see a doctor to get better.
