Vitamin B2
Vitamin B2, also known as Riboflavin, is an essential nutrient that our bodies need to function properly. It plays a crucial role in converting the food we eat into energy. Riboflavin is involved in the metabolic processes that break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins in our body, allowing us to get the energy we need for various activities.

We can obtain Riboflavin from a variety of food sources. Good dietary sources of Vitamin B2 include milk, eggs, lean meats, green leafy vegetables, nuts, and whole grains. Some fortified cereals and breads also contain added Riboflavin. It’s important to eat a balanced diet to ensure an adequate intake of this vitamin.
Deficiency of Vitamin B2 can lead to various health problems, including fatigue, weakness, skin disorders, and anemia. However, it is rare to have severe deficiency symptoms unless there are underlying health conditions or poor dietary choices.
