Spacecraft

Spacecraft technology has come a long way since the first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1, was launched by the Soviet Union in 1957. Today, spacecraft are used for a wide range of scientific and commercial purposes, including astronomy, geology, planetary science, Earth observation, telecommunications, and navigation.

One of the most famous spacecraft missions is NASA’s Voyager program, which explored the outer planets of our solar system and became the first human-made object to enter interstellar space. Another notable spacecraft is the Hubble Space Telescope, which has revolutionized astronomy by capturing stunning images of galaxies, nebulae, and other celestial objects.

Spacecraft engineering is a multidisciplinary field that involves experts in physics, mathematics, materials science, electronics, software, and more. It requires precise engineering and testing to ensure the spacecraft is reliable, efficient, and safe.
